Audrey Justine Tautou, a French actress and model, rose to fame internationally with her portrayal of a shy eccentric waitress who won several awards in romance film Amelie. Tautou has been considered to be Audrey Hepburn for her good look as well as her acting ability and a charismatic personality She has the best of two styles. The profession of acting was not an ideal career for the pretty dark-haired girl that was born into a clan of intellectuals her father worked as a dentist and mother was an educator. Her passion for acting sparked when she was in high school, and she decided to be a professional actor. She attended acting classes at Cours Florent, and then landed a role on the TV movie Coeur de cible. Her movie debut in the feature film Venus Beauty Institute for which she was praised. She's an actress who's daring who loves to test diverse characters. Her film credits range from Amelie the romantic comedy, to Dirty Pretty Things, a thriller. A native of France she has appeared in numerous French films before becoming a star in her Hollywood debut with Tom Hanks in the film The Da Vinci Code. She is highly regarded because of her style and is regarded as a fashionable.
