Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both lawyers. In her early years, she went to at the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma was inspired to become an actor by the age of six. Over the course of several years she was enrolled in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. There she learned singing dance, acting and singing. When she was 10, she had already taken part in a variety of Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was cast in the year 1999. Casting agents found Emma via her Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint after auditions of 8. They were chosen to play the 3 leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut on the big screen came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, released in 2001. The film beat all previous records on its opening and weekend ticket sales, and it was the highest-grossing film of 2001. It was highly acclaimed by experts, and also by the performance of three actors. The Daily Telegraph, a popular British publication, has praised Emma for her exceptional performance. Later Emma was shortlisted for five awards for her performance in the film and was awarded the Young Artist Award for Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film.
