Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most well-known roles are Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Her birthplace was Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents separated to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. Though she struggled financially, her 2001 debut was as Rachel's Room's main character. The actress was able to secure a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. She was the main character for two seasons and was awarded an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Leaving the series Grace wanted to appear on film more frequently, having played opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The actress starred in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in both 2007 as well as Taken (2008) with Liam Neeson. The role was reprised as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice In Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to Shannon's character as Shannon in Lost for two more episodes, including the finale of the series. Grace appeared in Californication's 6th season that aired from 2013 until 2014.
